The Club Scrap® Sales Team was developed so that we could enlist the services of Independent Sales Representatives (Crafters) to educate scrapbookers and stampers on the value, quality, and inspiration of Club Scrap®. It is our belief that only those who experience our exceptional products and philosophies can appreciate our unique offering . . . and that’s where the journey of our Crafter Representatives begins — in the homes of papercrafting artists all over the United States. What is CSHQ? CSHQ is an acronym for Club Scrap® Headquarters, located at W6484 Design Dr., Greenville, Wisconsin, 54942. CSHQ finds its home in a16,000 square foot, custom-built facility where all of the CS® original products are designed, produced, warehoused, packaged, assembled, and shipped. In addition, your Crafter Startup Kit includes an in-depth Crafter's Guide that will answer most all of your questions. You’ll also have 24-7 online access to education and informational documents in your “Crafter Back Office”. What is a Crafter Startup Kit? A Crafter Startup Kit is a collection of choice Club Scrap® supplies, tools and materials carefully gathered to help successfully launch your business. The kit offers over $650 in retail products and supplies, including a Crafter's Guide, marketing materials, product samples, kit samples, packing supplies, etc., all for just $295 (plus shipping and handling). Your kit will be invaluable to you while you're in your startup phase, and continue to offer you insight and education as you begin to experience successes. Do I need a Resale Certificate, and how can I acquire one from my state? Check with your local Crafter Representative or CSHQ to see if a resale certificate is required in your state to conduct business. The application process is fairly simple, generally requires only a nominal filing fee, and can most often be done online. Consult the AICPA website, or contact your state's Department of Revenue for more information. You'll also want to consult with a local tax accountant, as they'll have the expertise and knowledge to advise you appropriately. Are there required minimums to being a Crafter? There is a nominal monthly sales minimum that can easily be attained by holding just one event per month. No. You may choose to maintain Certified Crafter status without ever recruiting other Crafters. You can, however, multiply your earnings substantially by choosing to expand and grow a Crafter team by recruiting others into the business. We will be happy to show you the benefits of having that ground floor opportunity at this point in our history. Will I be required to maintain an inventory? No. Your best sales tool will already be in your possession—your monthly Club kits. You’ll want to display them proudly and allow your Guests the opportunity to experience our CS® world. Because the product line expands each month, your sales potenial is unlimited. And, because our world is online, you also won’t be required to stock expensive, bulky catalogs. The Workshop. What is a Workshop? Workshops for our Crafters are the event that transpires while offering a hands-on experience of Club Scrap's® products, value, and creative philosophies. Guests complete a papercrafting project while experiencing our world. Crafter Reps have access to dozens of projects that include scrapbooking, cardmaking, handmade books and other papercrafts — many available exclusively through Crafter Representatives. Dept." is CSHQ’s online retail shopping area that holds all of the past and current CS® products, materials, and projects.
